1. Purpose
MuscleNClutch, LLC (referred to as 'MuscleNClutch') is committed to providing a safe, professional, and respectful training environment for all participants. This Safety & Youth Protection Policy outlines the standards, rules, and procedures that apply to all training sessions, including sessions involving minors.
2. Nature of Training
MuscleNClutch provides non-contact boxing fitness training and conditioning. Training may include:

Heavy bag work

Shadowboxing

Footwork drills

Strength and conditioning exercises

Agility and endurance training​

No sparring is permitted.
No participant-to-participant contact is allowed.
Clients seeking competitive boxing or sparring-based training will be referred to a separate coach or program.
3. Training Environment
Training sessions may take place at various approved locations, including:

Outdoor training spaces

Public fitness areas

Other suitable locations selected by the instructor
All training environments are expected to be open, observable, and appropriate for the services being provided.
4. General Safety Standards
To promote safety during all sessions:

Participants must follow instructor directions at all times.

Participants must use equipment only as directed.

Proper attire and suitable athletic footwear are required

Gloves, wraps, and any other recommended protective gear should be used when instructed.

Unsafe, aggressive, reckless, or disruptive behavior is not permitted.

Any participant who appears ill, injured, impaired, or unable to train safely may be removed from participation.
MuscleNClutch reserves the right to stop any activity at any time if safety concerns arise.
5. Participant Responsibilities
All participants are responsible for:

Arriving physically able to participate

Informing the instructor of any injury, illness, pain, limitation, or medical concern before training

Telling the instructor immediately if discomfort, dizziness, pain, or unusual symptoms occur during a session

Following all posted, verbal, and written safety instructions

Treating instructors, other participants, and property with respect
Failure to follow these requirements may result in suspension or removal from training.
6. Youth Protection Standards
MuscleNClutch is committed to maintaining a safe environment for minors.
For participants under age 18:

A parent or legal guardian must complete all required registration and waiver documents before participation.

Parents/guardians are encouraged to remain present or nearby during sessions involving minors.

Training involving minors should take place in open and observable spaces whenever possible.

Private, closed-door, or isolated training environments with minors are to be avoided.

Interactions with minors must remain professional, appropriate, and directly related to instruction and safety at all times.
7. Physical Contact Guidelines
Because training may involve form correction or equipment positioning, limited physical contact may occasionally be necessary. Any such contact must be:

8. Abuse Prevention and Misconduct
MuscleNClutch has a zero-tolerance policy for:

Inappropriate touching

Verbal abuse

Bullying

Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern
Any allegation or concern involving inappropriate conduct will be taken seriously and may result in:

Notification of a parent/guardian

Notification of law enforcement or other appropriate authorities, when warranted
9. Reporting Concerns
Any participant, parent, or guardian who observes or experiences unsafe, inappropriate, or concerning behavior should report it immediately to MuscleNClutch.
Reports may include concerns related to:

Injury risks

Unsafe conduct

Harassment
-
Inappropriate behavior involving a minor

Violations of this policy
All reports will be reviewed promptly and handled as seriously and appropriately as possible.

10. Injury Response
If a participant is injured or appears injured during a session:

Activity will stop immediately as needed.

The participant will be assessed for immediate safety concerns.

Basic first aid may be provided if appropriate.

Emergency medical services may be contacted when necessary.
-
For minors, a parent or guardian will be notified as soon as possible.
Participants may be removed from activity until they are able to safely return.
11. Concussion and Head Injury Precautions
Although MuscleNClutch training is non-contact, head injury symptoms must be taken seriously.
Any participant who shows signs of possible concussion or head injury, including dizziness, confusion, nausea, headache, balance issues, or unusual behavior, will be removed from activity immediately.
A participant may be required to obtain medical clearance before returning to training.
12. Equipment Safety
All training equipment should be used in a safe and proper manner. This includes, as applicable:

Conditioning equipment
Damaged, unsafe, or improperly used equipment should not be used. MuscleNClutch reserves the right to remove any unsafe equipment from use.
13. Hygiene and Cleanliness
To promote a safe and sanitary training environment:

Participants should arrive in clean training attire.

Shared equipment should be kept reasonably clean.
-
Open wounds or contagious conditions should be disclosed and appropriately managed before participation.

Participants may be asked not to train if a health or hygiene concern creates a risk to others.
14. Waivers and Required Acknowledgments
All participants must complete any required waivers, releases, and acknowledgment forms before participating in training.
For minors, a parent or legal guardian must complete and sign all required forms.
Participation in training constitutes agreement to comply with:

15. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Services
MuscleNClutch reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or discontinue services for any participant whose conduct, condition, or circumstances create:

A policy violation

Disruption to training

Inappropriate behavior toward staff or others
16. No Guarantee of Injury Prevention
While MuscleNClutch takes reasonable steps to promote a safe training environment, physical activity carries inherent risks. No policy, instruction, supervision, or equipment can eliminate all risk of injury.
Participants and parents/guardians are expected to understand and accept the ordinary risks associated with physical exercise and boxing-style fitness training.
17. Policy Updates
MuscleNClutch may revise this policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or safety updates. The most current version should be made available upon request and, when applicable, posted on the business website or linked through registration materials.
